I’ve always wanted to help others and was drawn to the genuine, holistic approach that counselling offers. Before I trained as a counsellor, I saw firsthand how tough life can be — from mental health struggles, addiction, career challenges, and parenting pressures, to relationship difficulties and understanding neurodivergent “superpowers.” Even with people and resources around, it’s easy to feel alone, trying to show you’re okay while quietly struggling.
I found that traditional clinical approaches didn’t always fit my needs. Relief came when I accessed holistic, strengths-based support that didn’t label or diagnose — support that met me where I was. That’s why I became a counsellor: to help you navigate those tricky times without forcing you into a box, and to provide care that respects your unique journey.
